More New Eagle Ford Shale Pipelines Planned
Energy Transfer Partners, L.P, (ETP) recently announced plans to expand their existing Eagle Ford shale pipeline network and add a new processing plant in Karnes County. The first phase of the Rich Eagle Ford Mainline or REM, went into service in October of 2011. It consists of 160 miles of 30″ pipeline, originating in Dimmit county. REM phase II will consist of 70 miles of 42″ pipeline and will extend the line eastward from DeWitt into Jackson County. The Karnes County processing plant will provide an additional 200 million cubic feet per day of capacity, and is necessary to meet shipper commitments on the REM.

Other Eagle Ford Shale Pipeline And Natural Gas Processing Plant Projects by ETP:
A new natural gas processing plant, the Chisholm Plant, will be completed in the second quarter of 2012. It is located next to the LaGrange plant in Fayette county and will provide an additional 120 million cubic feet per day of capacity. The Jackson to Mont Belvieu NGL pipeline will be completed by the third quarter of 2012. It will consist of 130 miles of 20″ line, capable of handling 340,000 barrels per day.
